President, Paul Beer
Paul is the Business Banking Manager for the Mat-Su Valley with Wells Fargo for just over 10 years, with over 25 years banking experience. An University of Anchorage Alaska graduate. Paul enjoys getting involved in the local area through volunteer work with various non-profit organizations like United Way, Rotary, and Valley Performing Arts to help build and strengthen the local community. When not working or volunteering the Alaskan born enjoys basketball, softball, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with his wife and 5 kids.
Vice President , Margaret Billinger
Margaret has lived in Alaska since 1990. She moved to the Valley In 2000. She has been a Realtor with Prudential Jack White Vista Real Estate for 10+ years and has served on several boards state wide including Red Cross state and local boards, State Chamber of Commerce, Past President x2 of Big Lake Chamber, Past President of Big Lake Community Council and current council member, Secretary in 2008 for the Valley board of Realtors, Chair of Finance Committee at Our lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She is also a member of the Big Lake Library Advocacy Board and Big Lake Trails Board. On her free time she loves to cook and wanted to have her own cafe one day. She is a top producer in real estate for the past 15 years and is a member of NAR. She is married with one daughter and 3 4-legged children. She also loves to fish, travel and collect antiques. She is very passionate about giving back to her community.
Treasurer/Secretary, Ben Coleman
Ben has been the Transportation Planner for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough since 2017. In 2016, he worked with the Philippines Department of Transportation, developing the organizational structure for a Public Transit Authority to govern the country’s first Bus Rapid Transit system. He enjoys finding opportunities for public and private sector cooperation to meet community transportation needs. Ben serves on the Alaska Chapter Board of the American Planning Association. He holds a Master of Regional Planning degree from Cornell University, and a B.A. from Crown College.
Board Member, Norman Bouchard
Norman has been a Social Studies Teacher in the Mat-Su for over 22 years, all at Houston High school. As the Athletic Director he began the Football program at Houston High in 1997 and was the Defensive Coordinator with the program until 2004. He took over as the Head Coach and served in that position thru 2011. He has been the Athletic Director for 2 different stints at Houston, was the Head Girls Basketball Coach from 1994-2002 and served as the Boys Basketball Assistant, off and on, sense 2004. He was the Head Track coach from 1994-2007 and 2015. Norman joined the Colony Knights Football program in 2013 and has served the roll of Defensive Line Coach. He has 4 Children (Sophie, Lindsie, Taegge and Champ) and 4 Grandchildren (Maris, Jeter, Rivera and Weston). He is looking forward to another great year with the Knights!!!
